Rates

Rates to Rise September 1

As reported in the July Information Bulletin, our power supplier, the Bonneville Power Administration (BPA), will increase our wholesale rates 46% effective October 1, 2001.

Our retail rates will increase, on average, approximately 28% effective September 1, 2001 in preparation for our October power bill. Residential and small commercial customers will see about a 26% increase while large commercial customers (demand) will increase about 30%.

We are committed to helping minimize the impact this increase has on our customers. Listed below are a number of programs that are available. Check off which programs you’re interested in, return it to our office, and we’ll contact you with more information. Don’t forget to sign up for our Residential Conservation Incentive Program.

Detailed rate information will be mailed to all customers prior to September billings.
