Heat Pump Program

Heat Pump Program Brochure

Loans and rebates are available for high efficiency heat pump installations.

Who is eligible: All Salem Electric residential customers living in single family homes with existing permanently-installed electric heat.

Participant's homes must be weatherized, meeting the Salem Electric WeatherWise Program guidelines, if insulation measures are required.

Qualifying heat pumps must have a heating season performance factor (HSPF) of 8.0 or greater.

Installers must be certified program participants.

Click on the link below for a list of contractors who are licensed, bonded, insured and registered with the Oregon Construction Contractors Board. They have also signed an agreement requiring all work be installed to meet our strict installation standards.
