Super Good Cents

Incentives for improving the energy efficiency in new residential construction projects

Who is eligible: Builders and property owners planning new electrically-heated single-family homes or multi-family residences in Salem Electric's service area.

Salem Electric staff must review the project plans prior to construction and meet with the builder or owner to review any necessary adjustments.

Checklists are prepared for review with subcontractors.

Incentives are available for improvements to the building shell.

Additional incentives are also available for optional measures such as appliances and ventilation equipment.

Salem Electric inspects all Super Good Cents-related components to assure compliance.
