WeatherWise Homes

A residential weatherization program for customers with electric heat

Who is eligible: All Salem Electric single and multi-family residential customers (owners or renters) with permanently-installed electric heat. The electric heating system must be the only heat source, excluding wood heat.

Free energy audits identify eligible weatherization measures.

Projects must be pre-approved by Salem Electric.

Certified contractors install weatherization measures.

Salem Electric staff inspects all installed measures.

Cash incentives and low interest loans are available for installing cost-effective energy saving measures.

Click on the link below for a list of contractors who are licensed, bonded, insured and registered with the Oregon Construction Contractors Board. They have also signed an agreement requiring all work be installed to meet our strict installation standards.
