Member Assistance Program A heating bill assistance program for
qualifying members
Who is eligible?
Members meeting income guidelines with priority given to senior citizens and disabled persons.
Seniors and disabled persons apply beginning in December, all others will apply in January. The household must use electricity as the main heating source and household income cannot exceed 60 percent of Oregon's median income. The credit is limited to once per heating season. The program ends April 30th, or when the program budget is expended, whichever comes first.
A separate assistance program, administered by The Salvation Army and funded through member donations, is available year-round for all eligible members.
