7/23/2025 3:15 a.m. We are currently experiencing an outage in Downtown Salem. Crews have been dispatched and more information will be provided once it is available.
7/23/2025 5:15 a.m. Power is out east of Liberty St. NE between State St. and Center St. NE. Crews are troubleshooting the underground power grid trying to identify and isolate the problem. We currently do not have an ETA to restore power.
7/23/2025 6:00 a.m. Power has been restored to most building downtown. There are still about 15 meters without power in the Liberty Plaza area. We currently do not have an ETA for the remaining meters.
7/23/2025 7:43 a.m. Power has been restored to all except 11 meters. A failed transformer is being replaced, we expect to have power completely restored by noon.
