The outage was caused by a transmission equipment failure on Bonneville Power Administration’s (BPA) system, which caused the lines feeding two of our substations to be deenergized.

There are 2 substations that have lost transmission service from Bonneville Power Administration. We are working on a switching plan to reroute power and reenergize as many locations as possible.

We are currently experiencing a large outage in Keizer and NE Salem. Crews have been dispatched, and more information will be provided once it is available.
