Salem Electric Undergraduate College Scholarships
Salem Electric offers 10 – $1,500 college scholarships each year to applicants of all ages who meet eligibility requirements. Scholarships are awarded based on school activities, academic promise, and quality of application and essay. The Oregon Office of Student Access and Completion (OSAC) administers the application process and selection of scholarship recipients.
Eligibility Requirements
- Applicants’ primary address must be served by Salem Electric.
- Applicants must be high school graduates (including home-school graduates) or GED recipients.
- Applicants must enroll in a full-time undergraduate program at an accredited two- or four-year college or university, or an accredited technical or trade school.
- Salem Electric staff, board members, and their immediate family members are ineligible.
Oregon Office of Student Access & Completion (OSAC)
The Oregon Office of Student Access and Completion(OSAC) administers the application process and selection of scholarship recipients. The OSAC Scholarship Application provides current and future Oregon students with one easy application to apply for multiple scholarships. OSAC awards more than $10 million in scholarships annually through more than 600 scholarships.
The OSAC scholarship application is closed for the 2026–2027 academic year. The application will reopen in November 2026 for the 2027–2028 academic year.
