Low-Income Annual Energy Assistance
The Salem Electric member assistance program is available to qualifying members whose household income does not exceed income guidelines.
- Seniors (age 60+) and persons with disabilities may apply beginning each December.
- Non-senior and non-disabled members can apply beginning each January.
Assistance is limited to a 1-time $185 bill credit per household, per year. Funds are available January through September, subject to program funding.

Energy assistance is available for Salem Electric members who meet the program guidelines. Assistance is subject to available program funding.
