As more of our members make the switch to electric vehicles (EVs), Salem Electric must plan for system reliability and design programs that keep power affordable and reliable. To improve our understanding of our members’ charging requirements, we need your help! Whether you drive a battery electric vehicle (BEV) or a plug-in hybrid (PHEV), we want to know so we can better meet your charging needs.
To qualify you must be a Salem Electric member and own or lease a BEV or PHEV registered at your service address. Low-speed/neighborhood vehicles such as golf carts or GEM vehicles do not qualify. Members who are already enrolled in our EV charger program and received a ChargePoint HomeFlex incentive are not eligible.
