Salem Electric Lineworker Scholarship

Qualified electrical lineworkers keep the lights on across America. They work for utility and energy companies to maintain, repair, and install electrical equipment. 

This year, there are an estimated 21,500 lineworker job openings across the country, and demand is expected to grow by 8.5% in the next four years.

In order to encourage interest in this lucrative, rewarding career, Salem Electric is offering a $3,000 scholarship to a student attending the Vocational Outside Line Training Academy (VOLTA) or Northwest Lineman College.
