Lobby is Temporarily Closed
Salem Electric is taking steps to be prepared in the event there is a significant impact from the Coronavirus (COVID-19) in our communities. Our top priority is to maintain the health and safety of employees and members and to ensure that we continue to provide reliable electricity and other business-critical operations without interruption.
We are monitoring information from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and federal, state, and local agencies to ensure the actions we’re taking are in line with the latest recommendations. Our office lobby will be closed to the public beginning Monday, March 16. Though our lobby will be closed, representatives will still be available by phone or email during regular business hours. While we realize this step may inconvenience members, it is an important step to maintain the health and safety of all.
Twenty-four-hour payment options include the dropbox and payment kiosk outside our office that accept cash and checks, our 24-hour payment line 503-362-3602, or online payment through SmartHub at SalemElectric.com or through the SmartHub mobile app.
